India :
Around 10 P.M, three live bombs were found in Shimla, near the bus station. The bombs were found in the apple sack.
The situation is really tense in Shimla, after the news spread. It is believed that there can be more bombs.
The whole city is under terror, as nobody could have ever thought that Shimla can also be on terrorist targets.
The authorities are being silent about it, and trying to assess the situation.
All the state capitals and important cities are on high alert.
UPDATE: As per latest reports, it all turned out to be a rumor. As clarified by IG, Shimla, it was a mock bomb defuse drill to check the preparedness and response of the police control room.

It is terribly shocking what is happening in India. Everyday bombs are being found like as if they are in some war. No city in India is safe anymore. The terrorist have succeeded ion spreading terror among common man who in any city are not safe.

The Indian intelligence and authorities have failed totally. The cities even after being on high alert in the wake if recent bomb blasts are failing to control further such acts. No case is getting solved, and police are just being dumbstruck.

The interesting aspect among all these is that it is the BJP ruled states which are having such attacks. Earlier it was Rajasthan, then Karnataka, then Gujrat, and now Himachal Pradesh. It may be a coincidence between the statistics does point towards some conspiracy.

As in political controversy? WTF? It’s just as simple as any other blasts, they are targeting (if they are) BJP lead states coz they pronounce their attacks on Hindus and BJP takes strong hold (for political mileage) of hindutava.

Hey it was a mock drill. The exercise was undertaken to check the preparedness and response of the police control room, bomb defusal squad and other personnel.
It really feels good now that they were not real bombs, and our authorities also undertake such important measures.

Yes it was, i was shocked to see the news, as I myself am from Shimla and I came to know about it last night.
And it’s been said that Police was surely under prepared, there was no bomb squad, they were fucking hunting down bombs with torches. The emptied all buses and asked them to leave without even knowing if bombs were inside buses or on bus-stand.

Chill Asmita, he’s not at fault and neither is he joking, because mock drill was conducted by higher officials to make sure that Police force knows how to deal with the gig. Though writing a news as important as that just shows why Citizen Journalism can’t ever replace traditional media, because some CJ’s prefer writing without researching on the topic, they instead go by ’word of mouth’ theory

Hey i apologize, but as a CJ I was fooled by the drill. I am in Shimla, and the whole scene near the bus station was like that. Every passerby was saying taht three live bombs have been found.
And I don’t have any connection with the authorities. I can just report what i see. And i saw all those policeman and firemen , and bomb squad cars.
I apologize again for this blunder, but I am happy that it was a drill. It is a rarity that we see such kind if exercises happening in India.

Asmita your comments are totally unwarranted. Okay he made a mistake but it is as much a responsibility of the readers to check out for the authenticity as for the publisher. I was on Mall at the time Police started to rush and I (and for that matter you) would have as easily been taken in by all that went on.

It is good in that sense but mock drill surelyt scared the hell out of the people who were at bus stand at that particular moment. But really, must appreciate higher authorities for atleast thinking about the possibility of Shimla being attacked

Hey.. Arjun was just trying to inform us what he saw.. Yes it was not the right information but he meant well, only trying to warn people to be careful. If the story were true and didn’t turn out to be a mock drill, we would all have been starring and commenting positively. I feel he shouldn’t be criticized a lot because he is a citizen who wanted people to be safe. And when he saw what happened, he saw what everyone would have, at that moment. He offered his apologies and also the right information later. And he always comments intelligently, so it is ok.... :)
